As a LifeSet Specialist at Youth Villages, you will play a critical role in providing support and guidance to young adults aged 17-21, helping them become self-sufficient and navigate community resources. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Carry a maximum caseload of 8-10 young adults and meet with them at least once a week, adjusting frequency as needed.
- Provide on-call crisis support 24/7 and maintain accurate records of crisis situations.
- Implement supervisor and consultant suggestions in a timely manner and participate in weekly supervision exercises.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of young adults' needs and engage with them and their support systems to ensure full participation in treatment.
- A Master's degree in a social services discipline is preferred, but a Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- One year of experience in counseling and/or case management is necessary.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills are essential.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain a flexible schedule, and work independently.
