LifeSet Specialist

Job Summary

As a LifeSet Specialist at Youth Villages, you will play a critical role in supporting young adults in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being. This position requires a strong understanding of the LifeSet Model and the ability to provide individualized support to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry a maximum caseload of 8-10 young adults, providing regular check-ins and support as needed.
• Meet with clients a minimum of one time per week, adjusting frequency based on clinical need and direction from the Clinical Supervisor.
• Provide on-call crisis support to clients 24/7, alternating on-call duties with colleagues.
• Communicate effectively with the Clinical Supervisor, providing timely updates on client progress and any crisis situations that arise.
• Implement suggestions for interventions provided by the supervisor and/or consultant, ensuring timely reflection in the next treatment plan cycle.
• Participate in weekly supervision exercises to ensure accurate conceptualization and implementation of treatment.
• Deliver therapeutic services in accordance with Youth Villages' Mission and Values, as well as the LifeSet Model Principles.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of clients' needs from a strength-focused, solution-based perspective.
• Engage and align with clients and their support systems to promote full participation in treatment.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in a social services discipline is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline is required.
• One year of related experience in counseling and/or case management is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule.
