Job Summary:The Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that promote the professional growth and development of nursing staff. This includes developing and delivering educational content, assessing learning needs, and evaluating program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement educational programs for nursing staff
- Develop and deliver educational content, including lectures, workshops, and online modules
- Assess learning needs and evaluate program effectiveness
- Collaborate with nursing staff to identify learning needs and develop targeted educational programs
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and nursing practice
- MSN or DNP degree
- Current nursing licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as a clinical nurse with demonstrated evidence of leadership progression
- Competency in adult learning principles and a sound clinical nursing knowledge base
- Experience as a clinical educator or instructor
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and educational theory
- Experience with educational program development and implementation
The Clinical Nurse Educator will work in a variety of patient care environments, including inpatient and outpatient settings. The role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
