Job Title: Medical Biller

Mosaic Pediatric Therapy is seeking a skilled Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely submission of medical claims to insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Submit and follow up on claims to insurance companies, including commercial payors and Medicaid.
  • Post payments and reconcile claims to ensure accurate and timely payment.
  • Research and resolve claim issues and denied claims with payors.
  • Proactively manage accounts receivable to minimize delays in payment.
  • Investigate and resolve payment recoupment requests.
Requirements:
  • Excellent organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using electronic medical record applications, preferably Central Reach.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or equivalent G-suite applications.
  • A minimum of 2 years of outpatient medical billing experience, with prior billing experience in applied behavior analysis a plus.
