Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate dynamic models for electric vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate model-based development processes into vehicle design.
  • Conduct simulations to assess vehicle response and optimize vehicle dynamics, including parameter tuning for electric powertrain integration.
  • Support testing activities by correlating simulation results with real-world test data and refining models based on test feedback.
  • Analyze vehicle performance data to identify potential improvements and inform design decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in vehicle dynamics modeling, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in modeling and simulation software such as MATLAB/Simulink, CarSim, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics principles, including suspension kinematics, tire dynamics, and control systems.
