Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipeline Equipment Operator to join our team at Superior Pipeline Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain a variety of heavy equipment, including trucks, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, trenchers, backhoes, and loaders.
  • Inspect equipment and structures to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and checking fluid levels, to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Conduct post-job quality checks to ensure high-quality work and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in backhoe/mini excavator operation.
  • One year of experience digging and working around underground utilities.
  • Class A CDL required.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of experience in dry utilities.
  • Experience reading basic prints and Underground Facility Location Sketch.
