Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clinical support to healthcare providers, including preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Assist with patient care tasks, such as administering medications, drawing blood samples, and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification or training preferred.
  • At least three months of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an ambulatory clinic or medical oncology environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification required upon hire or within 60 days of hire.
