We are looking for a committed Waste Management Specialist to oversee all recycling and waste management operations within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the collection, handling, and transportation of recyclable materials from various departments
  • Ensuring proper placement and organization of recyclable materials
  • Conducting inspections and maintenance of recycling containers and related equipment
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports regarding recycling activities
  • Upholding cleanliness and orderliness within the recycling area
  • Inspecting and verifying incoming recyclable materials for quality
  • Coordinating supply and material deliveries for the recycling sector
  • Assisting in the sorting and baling processes of recyclable items
  • Maintaining and supervising recycling machinery
  • Tracking recycling collection schedules
  • Reporting any operational issues to management
  • Engaging in special projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • 6 to 12 months of experience in a production or similar environment
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with hazardous materials disposal procedures
  • Experience in operating baling equipment
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Understanding of safety protocols and procedures
