Quality Process Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Process Supervisor to oversee all aspects of branch computer operations, ensuring accuracy and quality of final product. This role involves supervising a team of Computer Operators and Distribution Specialists, and implementing strategies to achieve branch operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Branch Manager in developing computer processing goals and improvement strategies.
- Supervise and schedule staff, assigning and directing work to ensure quality and productivity standards are met.
- Makes hiring recommendations, evaluates performance, and recommends merit increases, promotions, or terminations to maximize team/branch performance.
- Supervise training of personnel, recommending and implementing on-the-job training and education to further professional advancement.
- Assist Branch Manager in developing computer operations budgets, ensuring costs are in line with corporate metrics.
- Plan, coordinate, and organize quarter- and year-end processes to provide accurate and timely tax documents to clients.
- Assist with computer operations as needed to meet quality and production standards and timelines.
- Ensure adherence to Paychex backup policies and procedural standards for all equipment to maintain production readiness.
- Complete all logs of production information to comply with audit and security requirements.
- Oversee and facilitate installation and maintenance of all computer room equipment to maintain production readiness and meet budget goals and production requirements.
- Maintain supplies, forms, and inventory to meet budget goals and production requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of trends in the computer industry through self-study, job-related courses, seminars, and conferences to enhance personal development.
- Address operational problems or call support personnel to ensure proper resolution.
- Manage hardware/software vendor service calls and monitor vendor performance, evaluating trends in hardware/software failure to maintain production readiness.
- Ensure good daily communication between computer room staff and other branch personnel, handling special processing requests as needed to meet client needs.
- Plan and execute quarter- and year-end processing schedule to meet branch deadlines.
Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma - Required
- 1 year of experience in Leadership role
- Effective leadership skills
