Cultured Production Supervisor

The Cultured Production Supervisor at Crystal Creamery is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the department. This role involves resolving employee concerns, managing workload responsibilities, and establishing effective working relationships with all parties.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure quality control testing procedures are performed through monitoring and recording
- Supervise and schedule employees in the department area
- Resolve equipment maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner
- Lead the team to ensure product quality at all times
- Cooperate in research and development of new products to ensure success
- Effectively order and lead inventory processes for ingredients and materials to meet operating goals and timelines
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives through leadership of the department team
- Maintain and manage the payroll system for direct department reports
- Participate in the training and development of team members
- Respond to scheduling changes and concerns within the team
- Respond to changes and concerns involving consumer and vendor needs, as well as equipment concerns
- Technical experience in cultured products, milk pasteurization, and product development
- Experience in quality control in manufacturing and food areas
- Ability to work effectively without continued supervision
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to cooperate with multiple parties
- Proven multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Ability to respond to changes in planned schedules and timelines to direct the team to remain productive and efficient
- Experience working with mechanical machinery

Candidate salary range: $75,000 to $85,000
