Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry, specializing in Medical Devices. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient production of our medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring a smooth workflow and meeting production targets.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the production environment, particularly in clean rooms, adhering to all regulations and standards.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and supply needs to ensure efficient production without compromising on quality.
  • Collaborate with the operations management team to strategize and implement production plans, continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Partner with customer service to ensure all contracts are successfully delivered on time and to the highest quality.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all medical devices and equipment produced, ensuring they meet all safety and functionality requirements.
  • Monitor and manage equipment maintenance and upgrades as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and compliance regulations, promoting a culture of safety and quality on the production floor.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and training to production staff, fostering a team environment and promoting professional growth.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in medical device production.
  • Proven experience as a medical device or equipment production supervisor, lead, manager or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of clean rooms and their requirements, with experience in maintaining such environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage staffing, supplies, and production to achieve efficient workflow.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving production goals.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience in partnering with operations management teams and customer service.
  • Solid understanding of medical devices and equipment, with a keen eye for quality and safety.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
