About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Risk Management Professional to join our team at BHI Energy. In this exciting opportunity, you will play a critical role in promoting and maintaining a safe work environment for our employees in the Northeast Region.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the implementation of regulatory compliance and incident prevention activities
  • Work closely with the Manager - Environment Health and Safety, Project Manager, General Foreman, and craft personnel to promote and ensure safe work practices and conditions
  • Conduct on-site safety inspections and document findings
  • Promote proactive and preventive safety activities by observing work practices and providing technical support

Requirements:

  • Degree in safety or related science/engineering degree or a minimum of 3 years' experience in related professional industry or construction safety experience
  • Solid understanding of 29 CFR OSHA 1926 Construction Industry Regulations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working in a union environment
  • Current valid driver's license
