Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain high-quality CT images of patients while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Follow established scanning protocols and adjust as needed to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Comply with radiation safety guidelines and utilize Personal Protective Equipment as required.
  • Perform all necessary computer operations, including Meditech, to ensure accurate charges and verified physician orders.
  • Provide patient care in a professional and courteous manner, preparing examination rooms and maintaining inventory of supplies.
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, and performing biopsies as needed.
  • Review each exam for technical accuracy and complete verification process in PACS.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA Policy and Procedure.
  • Complete and maintain personal educational requirements.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) - CT Technology Certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Vocational School Graduate.
