Job Description:
Affinius Capital is on the lookout for Analysts to enhance its equity investment team based in New York. This team is responsible for overseeing investments in Affinius Capital's equity investment vehicles, including opportunistic equity and other funds. The investment professional will engage in all facets of underwriting, due diligence, and the finalization of new investments, as well as the execution of business plans for the assets within Affinius Capital's existing investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and underwriting potential investment opportunities for Affinius Capital's equity funds.
  • Executing and finalizing transactions involving various property types.
  • Creating financial analyses and investment committee memoranda that outline investment rationale, execution risks, and expected returns.
  • Conducting acquisition due diligence, which includes performing market analysis and coordinating with external service providers.
  • Supporting the implementation of business strategies, including leasing, financing, disposition, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
  • Carrying out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, real estate private equity, real estate finance, brokerage, or advisory services.
  • A strong work ethic and a genuine interest in real estate.
  • Advanced skills in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); familiarity with Argus Enterprise is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to work on-site full-time.
  • Qualifications may lead to placement in a different job title.

As mandated by the New York City Human Rights Law (NYCHRL), Affinius Capital provides a good faith estimate for this role, with a starting annual base salary range of $100,000. This base salary is just one aspect of the overall compensation package. Employees may also qualify for Affinius Capital's discretionary Annual Bonus program and other employee benefits, subject to specific terms and eligibility criteria.
