A Cardiac Registered Nurse (RN) at Memorial Health is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical and surgical cardiac care, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
About the Role
As a Cardiac Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for caring for patients with a range of cardiac conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans, in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in the State of Illinois.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
