Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales of Stepan products to both existing clients and new prospects, aiming to meet or surpass growth targets.
  • Identify and cultivate opportunities for strategic product lines.
  • Address supply and delivery challenges as they arise, ensuring accurate pricing for customer invoices.
  • Oversee Global Account activities for clients operating in multiple regions.
  • Negotiate new contracts in collaboration with management.
  • Gain a deep understanding of clients' businesses, including their objectives and challenges, through focused meetings.
  • Maintain detailed call reports and manage the opportunity pipeline using Salesforce.
  • Prepare annual budgets and uphold sales forecasts.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Stepan's offerings, market dynamics, and regulatory factors to effectively communicate value to clients.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the oil industry is required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven capability to work independently from a remote location.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • High motivation and initiative are essential.
  • Willingness to travel is a must.
  • Experience in oilfield chemicals is preferred.
Education
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required.
