Job Summary

Pets World is seeking a skilled groomer to join our team. As a dog stylist professional, you will work closely with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with customers to determine their grooming needs.
  • Provide personalized grooming services, including bathing, clipping, and styling dogs.
  • Educate clients on different packages and benefits, promoting add-on services and retail items.
  • Maintain a clean and organized facility, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Stay informed about pet industry and grooming standards, ensuring the highest level of service for our customers.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of grooming experience is required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds regularly.
  • Strong achievement drive, empathy, integrity, pride, and good social skills are essential.
  • Kindness, patience, and attention to detail are crucial in this role.
  • Ambassador for safety, understanding basic animal behavior and body language to prevent injuries to self and pets.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on training and experience. Benefits include one week of paid time off, an employer-sponsored retirement program, and employer/employee-sponsored medical and dental benefits.
