Job Title: Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our store in Round Rock, TX.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day store operations, ensuring seamless customer service, cleanliness, and adherence to company standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer satisfaction in sales and service, fostering a positive shopping experience.
  • Lead, coach, and direct employees to achieve optimal store performance, promoting a positive team spirit and motivating employees to reach goals.
  • Set expectations, communicate regularly, and conduct regular store meetings to ensure employee understanding and engagement.
  • Evaluate employee performance through written and verbal feedback, using the performance development plan (PDA).
  • Hold associates accountable for their duties, training, and development, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage store operational and maintenance requirements, including inventory, finances, and assets, ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and controlling expenditures.
  • Work with the District Manager to set goals and implement strategies to increase store volume, maintain inventory levels, and promote the store within its market.
  • Interview and hire sales associates, ensuring a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in all interactions with store associates, company employees, vendors, and customers, exercising confidentiality when necessary.

Requirements

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Organized and able to handle deadlines professionally, identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Able to work independently with timely follow-through, demonstrating passion, integrity, and energy to achieve greatness for SAS and the team.
  • Self-starter with a desire to take initiative, respectful and caring towards coworkers, and accountable for actions.
  • Excellent attendance and a team player who can work well with others, promoting a positive team spirit and motivating employees to reach goals.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and frequently communicate with customers and coworkers, with some travel expected.
  • Able to operate a vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Some college education is preferred, with 1-2 years of experience in retail management.
  • Experience in handling intricate employee relations is a plus.

Work Schedule

  • Able to work day and night hours, including weekends, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, as business needs dictate.
