Responsibilities:- Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients with a wide range of physical and psychological diagnoses, and provide individualized care plans to meet their needs.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications, blood products, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete records of patient care, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including code blues and other critical events.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute care, medical/surgical unit in an urban, academic Medical Center setting.
- Licensure: An unrestricted registered nurse license from any state (United States).
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field is highly preferred.
- Competitive Salary: $57.50 per hour.
- Benefits Package: Includes vacation time, federal holidays, and sick days.
