Nurse Practitioner

Triad Adult and Pediatric Medicine, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care services, including conducting physical exams, ordering laboratory and diagnostic studies, and interpreting results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical exams and obtain medical histories to inform diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Order and obtain laboratory and diagnostic studies as needed to support patient evaluations.
- Interpret and integrate data to determine preliminary diagnoses and develop therapeutic plans.
- Administer medications, immunizations, and injections in accordance with state law and clinic guidelines.
- Provide direct patient care services, including education, counseling, and health promotion.
- Coordinate and schedule laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures.
- Review, write, and renew medication prescriptions in accordance with written standing orders or physician consultation.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and clinic operations.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner or related field.
- Current North Carolina RN and NP licenses.
- CPR certification and a valid NC driver's license.
- At least three years of previous clinical experience, preferably in ambulatory pediatric care.
- Additional two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
Working Conditions:
This position requires frequent standing and walking, as well as the ability to lift and carry young children. The work environment is fast-paced and may involve exposure to communicable diseases and biohazard materials.
