The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working effectively with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary assessment, effective triage, and direct observation of patients in the Emergency Department
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient needs and expected outcomes are met
  • Delegate and supervise personnel participating in patient care, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes
  • Document patient information accurately and timely, adhering to Alleghany Health's standards and policies
Requirements
  • Current valid license to practice nursing in North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
  • Minimum one year of emergency nursing experience, preferably in a critical care setting
  • Working knowledge of North Carolina Nurse Practice Act and basic computer skills
