Cortica Per Diem Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at Cortica. As a Per Diem Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients and contributing to our mission of delivering life-changing care to children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review occupational therapy treatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessment tools.
  • Consult closely with multi-disciplinary team members to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions, as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate.
  • Maintain patient records, documentation, and appropriate billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy to ensure excellent standard of care.
  • Implement programming that considers all aspects of the child, inclusive of, but not limited to sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in a similar setting and strong documentation, time management, and clinical skills.
  • Current Occupational Therapy License in the state of California.
  • Excellent clinical skills that allow you to work with a variety of clients and diagnoses.
  • Flexibility and openness to learning.
  • Appreciation for a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
  • Passion for working with children.
  • Skilled at using software and systems, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
