Job Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist with White River Health, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Under the guidance of our clinical supervisor, you will perform diagnostic procedures with the knowledge of all pertinent and academic areas to produce consistent, high-quality exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult care, adhering to department policy and procedure.
  • Organize workload during high volume to expedite patient care and communicate with other technologists about pending exams and pertinent information.
  • Maintain and implement current skills and knowledge, policy, and procedure specific to radiology examinations and procedures.
  • Assist physicians in performing radiology procedures and maintain specialized equipment.
  • Promote positive relationships within the department, discuss concerns with the supervisor, and present the department in a positive manner to other employees and staff.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • ARRT Registered or Registry eligible, with registry obtained within 6 months of date of hire.
  • Student in the second year of an approved school of radiologic technology.
  • Desire for furthering education in various specialties related to radiology.
