Summary of Duties:


Ensure the safety of guests while supervising various aquatic attractions in accordance with the Aquatic Risk Management program and established Standard Operating Procedures, all while delivering exceptional guest service.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a professional attitude and embody exemplary behaviors consistently.
  • Adhere to the Aquatic Risk Management program at all times.
  • Provide outstanding guest service by being well-informed about the attractions and the facility.
  • Maintain vigilant observation and concentration at all times.
  • Supervise multiple bodies of water while complying with the Aquatic Risk Management program.
  • Operate attractions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Enforce participant requirements and attraction regulations.
  • Implement emergency protocols, including crowd management when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively using public address systems, radios, and telephones.
  • Safeguard company resources through appropriate use of tools and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and organization of workspaces.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 15 years old. If under 18, working papers must be provided prior to employment.

Lifeguards under 16 years of age are restricted from working at elevated locations, such as the tops of water slides, as mandated by labor regulations, and will be assigned to pools, runouts, bottoms of slides, or support roles during peak attendance periods.


  • Must obtain a Lifeguard Certification from an approved Aquatic Risk Management provider.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential. Must demonstrate effective time management and the ability to work independently.
  • Physical capabilities must include standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, and reaching overhead.
  • Ability to function in a noisy and high-vibration environment.
  • Capacity to handle high-stress situations effectively.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and background check is mandatory.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
