- Inventory Oversight: Maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure continuous patient care.
- Medication Filling: Accurately fill and deliver medications under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist.
- Policy Adherence: Consistently follow established policies and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with departmental and legal standards for quality assurance.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pharmacy equipment effectively and safely.
- Communication: Address and escalate any inquiries or issues that fall outside the pharmacy technician's scope of practice.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Position Compensation Range: $32.05 Hourly
Minimum Qualifications- Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months relevant experience required
- License/Certification: Required registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the Commonwealth of Virginia, along with CPhT credential through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, possess proficient communication skills, and maintain attention to detail. The role also involves the capability to lift, push, or pull items weighing less than 20 lbs.
