Teaching Anatomy & Physiology courses to a diverse student body is a key responsibility of this role at the State of South Carolina. The successful candidate will develop and revise course materials, maintain office hours, support student retention strategies, and participate in College and community activities.

This adjunct teaching position may require instruction on any campus, online, or through hybrid formats, with flexible scheduling that may include day, evening, or weekend classes. We are seeking an experienced educator with a Master's degree in Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

At least one year of teaching experience in Anatomy & Physiology, ideally at the college level, including both lecture and laboratory instruction, is required. The ideal candidate will also possess proficiency in using learning management systems, effective communication, and the ability to employ diverse instructional strategies that promote student engagement and learning.

Additionally, the candidate should meet the College's credentialing requirements for adjunct faculty in the Sciences Department. Preferred qualifications include a Doctorate in Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, or a closely related field, three or more years of teaching experience at the college level, and experience in developing and implementing course materials that reflect current scientific trends and best practices in Anatomy & Physiology education.

We offer a competitive salary range of $54.44 to $59.46 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement and savings plan options, and paid vacation and sick leave.
