Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Massage Therapy Instructor to join our team at Spartanburg Community College. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching lectures in Massage Therapy, preparing syllabi and tests, and grading student work.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach lectures in Massage Therapy
  • Prepare lectures, syllabi, and tests
  • Grade and assess student work
  • Develop and implement classroom strategies
  • Consult with students and advise on academic progress

Requirements:

  • Certificate in Massage Therapy from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning
  • Certified by the National Certification for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork Exam or Massage and Bodywork Licensing
  • Licensed in South Carolina
  • Three years of experience as a Massage Therapist

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree
  • Teaching experience
