Position Overview:

The Cannabis Retail Specialist is tasked with guiding customers through their cannabis experience by providing education on the benefits and potential side effects of our products. In this role, you will need to possess a thorough understanding of various offerings and their effects while delivering outstanding customer service. The primary responsibility is to facilitate customer purchases in compliance with state regulations while ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to customers, guests, and colleagues.
  • Show empathy and compassion towards patients.
  • Provide an elevated service experience through product knowledge and patient care standards.
  • Assist management with returns in accordance with company policies.
  • Process patient orders efficiently and promptly.
  • Adhere to Trulieve's policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the on-duty leader to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding products or devices.
  • Work with management to resolve customer issues.
  • Document customer concerns in their profiles.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace throughout your shift.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • As a Delivery Associate, you must hold a valid driver's license and maintain a clear driving record.
  • Follow all policies and procedures related to delivery roles.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in retail or a similar field preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old (or 18 in certain states).
  • Prior experience in retail or customer service is advantageous.
  • Experience with cash handling is required.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and interact with diverse personalities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to work effectively without supervision and in a team setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to engage with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately.
  • Respectful and polite interaction with customers and team members.
  • Proficient in conversational English to communicate effectively and operate electronic devices.
  • Must possess the mental and physical abilities necessary to perform job duties.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is:

  • Constantly required to move throughout the facility and communicate sensitive information.
  • Frequently required to handle objects of varying sizes and weights, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally required to remain seated.

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible hours based on store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • This position may require up to 25 hours per week.
