Bariatric Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bariatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
About the RoleThe Bariatric Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan to achieve the goals of the nursing department. You will manage the efficient flow of patient care, including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care and comfort, and arranging for admissions, testing, and discharges.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients to develop individualized care plans
- Implement and coordinate treatment plans to achieve patient goals
- Manage patient flow, including admissions, testing, and discharges
- Provide general nursing care and comfort to patients
- Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed
To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher. A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is also required.
