We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Bariatric Care team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a key member of our interdependent team, you will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan to achieve positive patient and departmental outcomes.
Responsibilities- Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients, ensuring efficient flow of patient care, including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care and comfort, and arranging for admissions, testing, and discharges.
- Manage patient records, including posting tests and examination results, and administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans, and respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse with Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree.
