We are currently seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated team in providing quality therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Care: Deliver skilled physical therapy as prescribed by the attending physician, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
- Monitoring: Observe and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Family Support: Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and the use of therapeutic equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Current license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of employment.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for home care experience.
- Valid driver's license and personal auto insurance.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
- Patience and understanding when interacting with patients and their families.
