About the Role

VNS Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Nurse Residency Program as a Home Health Nurse Educator. This is an exciting opportunity to empower recent RN graduates with hands-on clinical experience and training to develop the next generation of expert home care clinicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in classroom learning activities, including topics such as critical thinking, evidence-based best practice assessments, care planning, and evaluation of care
  • Shadow RNs to gain field experience and review experiences in group debriefs
  • Practice in the community with a preceptor as part of an interdisciplinary care team
  • Deliver personalized nursing and care management to patients in their home or care facilities
  • Constantly evaluate evolving patient needs and respond with plan of care adjustments
  • Achieve continued professional growth through attendance at in-services, training, continued formal education, and select journal readership
Requirements
  • Recently received RN license
  • Degree in Nursing from an approved program required
  • No prior work experience in nursing required
  • Must be able to walk up and down steps to access patient residences
