Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Coordinator to join our team at ProgressiveHealth. As a key member of our occupational health services team, you will be responsible for providing direct oversight to EMS members and managing day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct oversight to EMS members and manage day-to-day operations
  • Ensure EMS staff members are on-call to address issues or questions that may arise
  • Ensure a staff member is on-call to direct patient care when the medical clinic is closed
  • Schedule and manage EMS staff to cover each shift or as required
  • Communicate and document all emergent situations based on client and ProgressiveHealth policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain medical surveillance programs for hearing, respirator fit testing, and drug and alcohol testing
  • Inspect and clean all EMS/medical equipment on a daily schedule and report any problems to the client
  • Oversee and order supplies as needed, and maintain proper inventory
  • Attend all training mandated by the client or ProgressiveHealth
  • Watch for safety issues while in the plant and report violations, problems, or concerns to the client
Requirements
  • Required state licensure, certification, and registration in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain it
  • CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment
  • ACLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment
  • Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
  • High degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications
