Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shuttle Bus Driver to join our team at SP Plus Corporation. As a Shuttle Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and ensuring the proper maintenance of our shuttle buses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of shuttle buses to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Transport passengers safely and efficiently to their destinations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bus interior, including restocking supplies and cleaning as needed.
  • Log trip counts and maintain accurate records of passenger transportation.
  • Assist disabled passengers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Report any accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
  • Communicate with the garage office regarding any issues or concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager.
Requirements
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Acceptable driving record.
  • DOT Medical Card.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and other employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, and using hands to handle cash and equipment. The employee may be required to occasionally sit, climb, or balance. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
