Position Information

We are seeking a qualified LPN to join our team in our residential program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Teach Level 1 Medication Aide classes to residential program staff
  • Observe and instruct staff on medication administration and documentation
  • Document and submit applications and training information as required
  • Assist with ensuring individuals gain access to healthcare services through assessment, review of medical records, and ongoing monitoring
Requirements
  • Experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Current license to practice as an LPN in the state of Missouri in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited program with pharmacology in the curriculum
  • Ability to use an electronic Medication Administration Record
  • Meet one of the following criteria: 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility, currently employed in an LTC facility, or instructor in a Health Occupations Education Program
Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Schedule

Less than 20 hours per week teaching Level 1 Med Aide classes and assisting with clerical duties
