Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse RN/LPN to join our team as a Residential Care Specialist. In this role, you will provide medical consultation and medication management for our adult and youth residential programs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments to ensure the health and well-being of our residents.
  • Monitor health needs and provide individualized care to meet the unique requirements of each resident.
  • Manage medication administration, including triage and coordination with pharmacies and healthcare providers.
  • Provide education and support to residents on medication use and self-administration.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in psycho-education groups and provide staff in-services on medical-related topics.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the success of our residential programs.
Working Conditions

As a Residential Care Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with regular exposure to blood and biohazard waste materials. You will also be required to operate vehicles or machinery as needed.

Requirements
  • Associates degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • LPN, licensed in Missouri required; RN, licensed in Missouri preferred.
  • Ability to pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation required for GPNs.
