We are a leading credit union dedicated to providing exceptional financial services and technology solutions to our members.
As an IT leader at Direct Federal Credit Union, you will play a crucial role in shaping our technology vision and strategy. You will be responsible for managing a team of skilled IT professionals and overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our core banking system, as well as other enterprise applications.
Job SummaryThis is a senior-level IT leadership position that requires a highly skilled and experienced individual with expertise in computer operations, credit union/banking operating systems, and project management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the IT Team: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the IT team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Technology Vision and Strategy: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement a technology vision and strategy that aligns with the credit union's overall business objectives.
- Core Banking System Management: Oversee the administration, maintenance, and development of the core banking system, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively.
- Enterprise Applications: Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of other enterprise applications, including phone systems, data communication equipment, and network security.
- Project Management: Serve as Project Manager on all IT projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Team Development: Identify areas for improvement and develop training plans to enhance the skills and knowledge of the IT team.
- Bachelor or Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
- Five years of experience in computer operations and credit union/banking operating systems.
- Experience working in a regulated environment and responding to inquiries and findings of regulators and auditors.
- Demonstrated ability for attention to detail and superior time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects.
- Extensive familiarity with Corelation KeyStone preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL, Java, and C#.
- Familiarity with VMware and networking.
The total compensation package will include an impressive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with a match, a profit sharing plan, paid vacation, sick and personal time. We also offer a credit monitoring service and a student loan pay down program.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
