The Senior Rehabilitation Coordinator plays a pivotal role in guiding the team and enhancing client care and development:

Team Leadership

  • Facilitates the creation of schedules tailored to the needs of both staff and clients.
  • Assists in the training and onboarding of new team members.
  • Supports documentation efforts for various operational needs.

Safety Assurance

  • Ensures a safe environment around the clock, which may include direct supervision, regular check-ins, and more.
  • Contributes to crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution strategies.

Building Relationships

  • Develops collaborative relationships grounded in trust and empathy through consistent communication.
  • Encourages partnerships with clients, the community, and other professionals.

Daily Living Support

  • Assists clients in developing essential skills for problem-solving, communication, and independence.
  • Facilitates client participation in social and recreational activities, including outings and community events.
  • Provides support with Activities of Daily Living, such as transportation, meal preparation, dressing, personal hygiene, and more.
