LPN - Trauma and Surgical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Trauma and Surgical team at Carilion Clinic. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Contribute to the development of the patient database and interdisciplinary plan of care.
- Identify patient educational needs and incorporate them into the plan of care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Licensed to practice practical nursing in the state of Virginia.
- AHA BLS-HCP certification.
- Ability to meet essential job functions.
