We are seeking a highly qualified part-time lecturer or instructor to join our team at the University of Southern California. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Recreation, or related fields, and possess certifications in related fitness areas.
Key Responsibilities- Teach a variety of fitness courses, including activity-based classes and classroom lectures
- Develop and implement curriculum that promotes student wellbeing and community building
- Collaborate with the Director of Physical Education & Mind Body Health to achieve departmental goals
- Master's Degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Exercise Science, or related field
- Strong teaching experience in college-level courses and/or training certifications in wellness, health, and fitness
- Ability to work in a diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environment
- Prior experience in college-level teaching and/or training certifications in wellness, health, and fitness
- Strong background in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Recreation, or related fields
The course rate for this position is $2,750 per unit.
