About the Role

As a Security Guard at Temecula Valley Hospital, you will play a vital role in protecting the lives and property of all individuals on the hospital premises. Your primary duties will include patrolling buildings and grounds to prevent fires, theft, and vandalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect doors, windows, and locks to ensure the level of security.
  • Ensure only authorized personnel are admitted onto the hospital premises.
  • Escort visitors, patients, and personnel to and from parking areas, taking into account age-specific needs.
  • Patrol parking areas to detect any irregularities.
  • Respond to emergency calls for assistance to control disorderly conduct or combative patients, demonstrating age-specific responses in these situations.
  • Inspect outgoing parcels as necessary to prevent theft of hospital property.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years' experience in law enforcement and/or security or equivalent (preferred).
  • High School Graduate/Equivalent (preferred).
  • Current Guard Card required.
  • Assaultive Behavior Management certification required within 45 days of hire.
  • Current CA driver's license required.
