Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Environmental Services to lead our team at a 150-bed healthcare facility in Harlan, KY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive client satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and effective communication with hospital staff.
  • Oversee a team of 25 and ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Partner with the Environment of Care Committee, Infection Prevention Director, and other key hospital leaders to achieve operational excellence.
  • Effectively manage the Unit Operating System and support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in custodial or housekeeping director-level roles, preferably in a hospital environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data, presenting, and communicating effectively to all levels within the organization.
  • Experience in managing projects, vendor and contract management, and union and contract negotiations.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
