Radiology Technician Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated Radiology Technician Assistant to join our team at Southwest Medical Imaging. As a key member of our diagnostic support staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical imaging department.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong ability to work independently, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

About the Role:

  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures
  • Prepare patients for medical imaging exams
  • Obtain detailed information on MRI safety sheets and ensure patient safety
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures and start IVs as needed
  • Assist with daily tasks and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a medical office setting preferred
  • Basic computer skills required; phlebotomy experience and IV skills a plus
  • CPR certification and MA certification a plus
