Job Description

The Electrocardiogram (ECG) Technician will be responsible for assisting physicians during invasive and non-invasive procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during procedures by preparing equipment, positioning patients, and maintaining aseptic technique
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and correctly, ensuring proper functioning prior to each procedure
  • Participate in performance improvement activities, contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and procedure details
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of patient care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completion of formal radiologic technology training or equivalent on-the-job training
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration and Arizona MRTBE license
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
