Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Assembler to join our team at ABB. As an Electromechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and testing electrical and mechanical components, ensuring high-quality products that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test electrical and mechanical components, including wiring, soldering, and assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs)
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions for assembly of products and systems
  • Use machinery and equipment on the shop floor to assemble and test components
  • Check sub-assemblies and final assemblies for completeness and visible damage, ensuring conformance with quality standards
  • Perform operator-based testing per procedures and download software in AC and DC drives
  • Perform material handling activities, moving cabinets, carts, skids, wire spools, and floor stock
  • Ensure the completion and maintenance of all required paperwork, records, documentation, and reject tickets
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Electromechanical/Soldering assemblies
  • Experience soldering through-hole and surface mount assemblies on PCBs highly preferred
  • Knowledge of power tools for electrical assemblies or related products
  • Knowledge and experience in ESD environment and expertise in wiring assemblies, connectors, and cables installation
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
