This role is pivotal in ensuring that our customers receive the highest standards of service while maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company's personal appearance standards.
- Delegate tasks to front-end and service desk associates during non-peak times as per the Service Leader Assignment Sheets.
- Participate in special projects and additional duties as directed by management.
- Uphold safety standards and report any necessary equipment repairs or maintenance. Keep the work area organized and free from hazards.
- Monitor customer interactions and report any unusual behavior to management or security.
- Secure cash drawers when unattended and protect company assets.
- Regularly maintain cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with health regulations.
- Frequently perform cashier and bagging duties.
- Assist at the service desk/kiosk and, if trained, perform bookkeeping tasks.
- Execute other assigned responsibilities as needed.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old to perform specific job functions.
- Ability and willingness to learn various tasks and technical aspects of the role.
- Proven capability to fulfill cashier and service desk/kiosk responsibilities.
Training Requirements:
- Completion of Cashier/Service Associate and Service Desk/Kiosk training for Kiosk Stores.
- Completion of Cashier training for Non-Service Desk/Kiosk Stores.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions while standing or walking for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift products weighing up to 15 pounds consistently, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to push or pull weights up to 75 pounds as needed.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Capability to gather and transport shopping carts as required.
- Ability to handle various cleaning and packaging materials safely.
- Sufficient vision to check identification and other documents.
- Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and resolving issues promptly.
- Develop effective work schedules for front-end and service desk/kiosk associates to optimize customer experience.
- Manage cash pickups and change orders as necessary.
- Verify customer IDs and adhere to store policies regarding checks and the sale of restricted items.
- Facilitate hassle-free refunds while adhering to applicable policies.
- Supervise the performance of front-end and service desk/kiosk associates as directed by management.
- Treat all associates with respect and provide constructive feedback as needed.
- Must meet the physical demands of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
