Private Duty Nurse for High Acuity Child

We are seeking a compassionate Private Duty Nurse to provide care for a special client/patient. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and experience working with high-acuity patients.

Responsibilities- Implementation of physician-prescribed plans of care
- Patient assessments and coordination of care
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Compliant documentation of care provided
- Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to adapt to changing situations will be essential in providing exceptional patient outcomes.
Requirements- Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state where you will practice
- CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
