Center for Allergy & Asthma WG is seeking a dedicated LPN to join their team as an Asthma and Allergy Nurse. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

About the Job

This position offers a competitive salary of $921.0 per week, ensuring you receive fair compensation for your expertise. As an LPN with Center for Allergy & Asthma WG, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, managing their care, and collaborating with RNs to develop individual plans of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct Patient Care:
    • Assess and assist with managing patients' total needs following physician orders with RN oversight utilizing nursing processes
    • Perform routine nursing procedures to meet patient needs under RN supervision
    • Meet established productivity standards
  • Coordination of Services for Episode of Care:
    • Coordinate care and services with RN and other team members
    • Inform RN, therapist, and/or clinical supervisor of changes in patients' condition, as appropriate
    • Collaborate with RN to develop and revise individual plans of care based on patient needs and physician orders
  • Patient/Caregiver Education:
    • Serve as a patient educator to foster self-care or caregiver support
    • Report concerns affecting patient or staff safety to authorities or agency leadership
  • Communication and Documentation:
    • Complete required documentation accurately within established timeframes
    • Demonstrate knowledge and appropriate application of regulatory guidelines
    • Participate in care team conferences with co-workers
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess strong assessment and clinical skills, positive leadership and problem-solving skills, and strong organizational and time management abilities. Additionally, proficiency in written and verbal communication skills, competency with Windows-based computers, patient software, email, and internet are essential. A Georgia Driver's License and Private Vehicle Insurance are also preferred.
