Sales Counselor Position Description

We are seeking a skilled Sales Counselor to join our team at Brookdale Santa Catalina. As a Sales Counselor, you will play a vital role in promoting our community and attracting new residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Main Responsibilities:
  • Routinely review software databases to identify and follow-up on leads from all sources, and effectively communicate with prospective residents and their families to promote the benefits of residing and receiving care at our community.
  • Maintain positive and understanding relationships with current residents and their family, and encourage their positive promotion of our community to friends, acquaintances, and family.
  • Identify innovative events and methods to increase visitation of targeted groups, and assist in planning, sponsoring, organizing, and executing special events to inform and attract referrals and prospects to visit our community.
  • Obtain and maintain knowledge of competitors, and communicate community features to best compete with competitor's strengths and weaknesses.

This is an incentive based position, which may include bonuses, incentives or commission plans. Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in coursework and related experience, a minimum of five years of progressive experience in the real estate or healthcare field, and a proven sales or promotion track record. Prior experience selling or promoting senior residential and healthcare services is highly preferred. Reliable car transportation with insurance, plus a valid driver's license, are also required.
