Physician Assistant

The Physician Assistant will work closely with surgeons to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans for patients with podiatric-specific ailments. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in orthopedic or podiatry and be able to administer injections for pain relief and inflammation reduction. This is a Monday-Friday, salaried position with a competitive compensation and benefit package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose podiatric-specific ailments using clinical evaluation and imaging studies.
- Review and interpret X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging studies.
- Collaborate with surgeons to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Administer injections for pain relief and inflammation reduction.
- See pre-operative and post-operative patients providing education and accurate assessment as needed.
- Call obligation to be determined.
Requirements:
- License to practice as a Physician Assistant in New York State.
- Prior experience in orthopedic or podiatry preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
